I am a fan of speedcubing, and my current goal is to have 15s average on both CFOP and Roux.
But on one lazy day, instead of practicing, I decided to do some research regarding the time 'split' of particular method. I surf around many article, just to forget what I have read afterwards.
So I revisited some page, commited myself to taking a note, and here is the rough approximation that I got:
CFOP (3-1-1)
3 = Cross + F2L
1 = OLL
1 = PLL
example (15s solve)
Cross + 1 --> 3s
F2L --> 6s
OLL --> 3s
PLL --> 3s
Roux (1-1)
1 = Blocks (first one faster)
1 = C + LSE (C faster)
example (16s solve)
First Block --> less than 4s
Second Block --> just over 4s
CMLL --> less than 4s
LSE --> just over 4s
Again, the purpose of this post is just to give short answer to those who (probably) don't really need, so they (you guys!) can actually practice instead of doing some research
. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and Hope this helps!
