Thoughts on cotton mod?

So i have just done this to my gts v1 and my mini aosu and i cant tell you that im pretty happy woth the outcome, gts is a lot quiet, and i dont know why(might be placebo) but my aosu seems faster, tell me your thoughts on this

Fill the inside of all pieces with cotton.

Personally I'd suggest using tight, noise-blocking foam.

I have heard about using sound proofing foam before but never cotton

It may actually be faster, but not because of the cotton mod. Often just taking a cube apart and reassembling causes the cube to feel different.

ive done it to two different cubes and it didnt seem to do anything to either. ): then again i only did it to the edges on both, and tips?

In my expirience it works best for the cubes that have a lot of space in them, and yea, fill the corners
