things to improve the guhong?

is there any mod or certain ways to make a guhong excellent?

I thought the GuHong was already excellent? But I don't know I haven't touched one yet, mine is yet to come in the post.

You can try changing the core to a Type A 1 core. Dunno if it'll help a lot though.

1st off take it out of the box.
If it still isn't good enough change the lube.
Still not there then maybe take up the yoyo.

I heard GuHongs need lube and breaking in for a few days in order to get good.

Mine came lubed but it didn't last particularly long.
It was so much better than any of my other cubes that I didn't notice if it did need breaking in.
