This might be a stupid question, but I've been watching this guy's videos for a while now and it's dawned on me that I know nothing about him. Like does he go to comps? Is he the biggest cubing channel? Why does he have 800k when RedKB and others only have about 200k? Why is he so popular?
Sorry if this may be stupid questions, but I'm actually curious.

As far as I know he hasn't been to a WCA competition, he is just a collector with a huge collection.

there's not a lot of respect for him in the speedcubing community and there's little to no contact with other Spanish youtubers. His audience is mainly 10-13 kids I think.

the positives are that many kids learn to cube thanks to him and he helps putting cubing in the map although having more contact with the speedcubing community might help him and surely would help us.

Well I've been following him since 2014.
He is so famous because of his collection and the way he acts in his videos (making jokes on himself, of cubes he can't solve, etc..). The fact he records his videos in Spanish has made the rubik's world grow in Latin America in a fast rate. At first he was interested in speed cubing, he is sub 25 I believe, he also uploaded (at the time) the best video tutorials for Ortega, olls, plls, intuitive F2L, Yau method, he also have the best Spanish tutorial for conjugates and commutators. He loves solving all weird cubes by himself (using conjugates and commutators) he doesn't make tutorials anymore, he promote that people try to solve them by themselves. I believe his collection rounds 800+ cubes. And I can tell as moralsh said, his audience (by now) is mainly kids who are being introduced to the rubik's world.
The rubik's world in Mexico has grown a lot since he started to being famous, even the "cubo pez" (fish cube) is being sold in cube stores.

Sorry for my English, I have to go to the laboratory and I wrote it so fast, but I can talk a lot about him.
