[Review] The best 1x1?

For me an entire piece came out, how do I fix?
So this can be a tricky fix, I would recommend taking a picture and sending it to the manufacturer. Like with the Cubicle, if a piece breaks you send them an email. I'm sure they could help. However, it can be too complex to fix by yourself, especially if it's a Gan brand

Also if you have a stripped core, you may have to ask the Cubicle to send you a replacement core

Honestly, for 1x1 I gave up a few years ago, but since I'm getting into Blind I thought I would try it out again. Here is a method I found to be useful:
  1. Start the timer.
  2. Perform the algorithm ABA'B' where A is (R U R' U')6 and B is (R' F' R F')6.
  3. Rotate so it is in position to perform the algorithm again.
  4. This time, instead of doing the algorithm, get out your magic wand and shout, "Wingardium Leviosa!"
  5. At this point, the cube should be flying.
  6. Stop the timer.
It's a new method called CFOP (Cube Flying OverPowered) that world record holders have been able to use to get their times under a minute in extreme cases. Personally, my best with this method is 2:14.81 since my 1x1 doesn't have good corner-cutting, but I wanted to see what kind of times you guys get with this method. I think the world record could go really far, and maybe even become a WCA event someday once the WCA makes a verdict on whether magic wands should be allowed at competitions.

Great method by whoever invented it

I use Roux on 1x1. My main is the TianMa X1 v2 and I'm sub 12 hours on 1x1, taking just a bit longer than solving the Rayminx. I'm going to get the UV coated GAN 110 M pro as my new main so that I can solve a 1x1 faster than a rayminx.

You know what's for noobs? a 21x21

You know what's for pros? a 1x1
The rayminx is for noob while 1x1 is for pros

I don't understand how people can come up with these newfangled methods. The one I have always used is BOP (short for Buy Other Puzzles). I was taught to spin it around on the red green blue point and see which way it landed. You would then find the opposite side and repeat on the bottom top corner. After doing this a hundred and twenty three times, you would be able to determine the solved state by analysing the oscillating parity patterns. Finally you had to apply one of 16 thirty-five moves parity algs to finally solve it.

To be honest though, I only ever managed it once. I typically have up halfway through and went on to 98 cube multiblind instead. However all these new methods have inspired hope (particularly the one by @White KB and will try again soon.
