oh sorry, my question was directed at Pyjam, who uses "Magic EOLine" to somehow repeatedly skip the Last Layer.

nice solve though. lol whenever i try to do pseudo blocks, i can never figure out which COLL algorithm to use!

I was using basically R2 F2 R2 U r2 F2 R2 U' M2 U which is:
R2F2R2 UM2 R2F2R2 UM2 swaps UF and UR and UB and DB.

So in the solve I did M2, and now see how if R2F2R2 UM2 R2F2R2 UM2 was done, I'd have ULUR solved. And be M2U2M2U away from solved. Because of the magic of cancelling I actually went for this, at first I was just being silly.
I could've done so many other things.

Anyway now it was M2 R2F2R2 UM2 R2F2R2 UM2 M2U2M2U
which equals M2 R2F2R2 UM2 R2F2R2 U'M2U
which equals L2 B2 R2 D L2 F2 R2 U' M2 U. weird stuff..

cube explorer says the optimal solution is 14 moves from the end position you gave. I doubt a smart insertion could reduce that to anything agreeable.
