Concerning Test Drive Unlimited 2, which will be released on 8th of February this year, there are two things I want to discuss.

Number 1: TDU2 has been delayed big-time. it was first planned to be released the fall 2010 but then got delayed to the 28th of January 2011 I believe it was. At the end of last year it was announced that it got delayed again to the 8th of February. I think the reason for the delay was because they released Beta if I'm not mistaken. It's great however. I would rather allow a game to be delayed just to bring a better experience. However to get Beta you had to sign up for it. Atari mentioned that many will sign up, but few will be chosen.
However people with obviously horrible patience got a pirated version of Beta and started playing it! Why? Probably because after being denied the chanse of becoming a Beta tester they were just so desperate after a first glance of the game. They completely forgot that the thing that TDU2 Beta was released for might have a little bit with a first glance to do, but it was really mostly released by Atari to get help with bug fixes and such from regular consumers. I signed up for Beta. I got denied. But I didn't run of and look for a pirated version. I signed up because I though it would be fun to help Atari with the game. Sure it's a bummer that I didn't get accepted, but that's okay. I'm a patient person, and I will wait for the games release.
What do you think about this pirated Beta thingy?

Number 2: I've seen people commenting on YouTube videos on TDU2 Beta and say something like this: "Man this game looks like crap! I wont get it. It looks much worse the TDU1!"
They've been judging the Beta as if it was the finished game. That's stupid! :fp
Also I'm pretty sure that Atari said that they don't allow Beta to be shown in videos from consumers. Or be shown in any way for that matter. Why are people so irresponsible?

Please reply and tell me what you think of all this! Look forward to hearing from you.

NFS world is horribly buggy. But gameplay itself is quite fun.

However, I am quitting this game once I gets a PS3 and GT5. Sim is my favorite.

What does that have to do with anything in this thread?...

I played the first one, but the driving controls felt a little off for me (can't remember why - it's been awhile). As a result, I only ever played it for a few hours in total. I think I'll give the second one a shot because it looks like a pretty decent game. I'm fine with the pirated beta thing but I think a discussion on the issue of pirating would get out of hand (not to mention no side ever "wins"). As for the videos, people want to show off the game and people who are looking at buying the game want to see it. To me, it seems that people uploading videos is kind of like free marketing for them.

Yeah, I'll have to agree that on TDU1 the driving controls were pretty bad. Also some cars had a horrible engine sound. Like the Saleen S7 Turbo. I first looked at it and thought it would have like a roaring and loud engine. I started the engine and it sounded like a bee but awfully quite. It was horrible. The Koenigsegg's engine-sound was bad as well. I hope they've improved the engine-sounds.
