I just got a super floppy ( free rotating edges version, fun puzzle but disappointingly easy to solve.) and after an hour of playing with it I've noticed that the stickers are starting to peel due to friction when they are oriented facing the inside of the puzzle.

I've figured out how to take the corners out, and I think that if I remove the center caps I'll get access to the screws to adjust the tension to reduce friction. Applying nail polisher to the whole thing afterwards to make it last longer sounds like a good idea?

Any suggestions /advice before I proceed? The center caps seem to be glued, so if anyone has toyed around with one of this, please share your thoughts.

Have you figured out how to adjust the tension? I cant remove the center caps, they are glued on.

After the clear tape, how is the friction affecting the sticker on the "centers" that are not wrapped?

The "center" stickers on my and my brother' super floppy cubes are absolutely fine. I've used the cheaper kind of clear tape and it dosen't make it worse in terms of friction, it actually turns better with the tape! I hope this answers your question; and that I didn't answer the wrong question.

edit: I accidentally dropped my super floppy cube last week and a cap came off. If you don't want to try repetitively dropping your puzzle,I think it would be similar to the normal floppy,
