So a while ago I posted about my advancing pace, and I've gotten some feedback, but I think It'd help if I just posted a video of me doing some solves. Sorry about the 3DS quality, but it was the only thing I could record it with successfully. I did a little bit worse than usual, probably because I was recording it. Sorry if my hands are kinda in the way.

You need to work on lookahead. You have a ton of pauses, and they're pretty lengthy. Do slow solves, and untimed solves. try to cut down on cube rotations. You have so many, and a lot of them are y2's. Those are the two big things. Mainly the lookahead.

How fast would I be going without the pauses? I've just recently really understood lookahead. It's still kinda new to me.

It's hard to quantify because you will be turning faster naturally because you will know what to do. The bottom line is that you will be faster.
Was my F2L the only place when I stopped a lot? I might have a bit on LL cause I'm still learning OLL and some of them slip my mind sometimes for a second.

How long do you think I'll need to do this? I've been doing the metronome thing. It works pretty well.

Nice tips this will definitely help me.
I'm just about at the same level as you, averaging around 30 sec and sub 30 if I practice a bit.

your turning is pretty smooth for someone at this speed. you don't need any tips, just keep on solving.
You sure? I'm working on OLL, do that should cut a little time. My alg execution isn't very fast either. I'm working on lookahead also. What do you average/PB?

i average sub14. and let me tell you, there are no tips to improve, it's all learning algs and practicing. nothing else, i wasted a lot of time too watching videos on "how to get sub20" but they don't help.

So do you know CFOP subsets like WV and CMLL?

This might be happening actually. I timed only 3 solves late last night (I was tired too), and 2/3 were sub-26!
