Noticed how he only showed 5 of the 6 sides after the toss, and that the stickers are pretty worn out (why?)

There are cubes on ebay that you can purchase, they appear scrambled and when you spin them the stickers flip and it is solved



At least that's my theory.

Highlight to find out:
The stickers are not placed on in such a way that the cube cannot be solved... he has it initially "scrambled", his twisting he is doing at the beginning solves 5 sides of the cube but he has placed different colored stickers on the 6th side so that it still looks scrambled... when he tosses it in the air he catches it in such a way that the side with mixed up stickers is hidden and we see the 5 solved sides...
