Best LL Option for ZZ? INCLUDING: ZBLL, TSLE+TTLL, and more?

Hey guys, so I am looking into getting faster at 3x3 with more algsets and other things like that to get consistently sub-8 with ZZ.

I have 3(ish) options:
ZZ-A (ZBLL)

ZZ-CT or ZZ-C++

Some Other Option

16-18 sec with base OCLL+PLL.

ZBLL is by far the best in my opinion. ZZ-A is just faster and better than all other ZZ variants (although I'd argue EOCross > EOLine)

I kinda don’t wanna learn full ZBLL (even with cancelling the sune, pi, and h cases) — that’s why I like the less algs part of ZZ-CT.

I find CLL + ELL last layer finish good.

CLL is like COLL but we need not orient the edges.
The algset has a lot of comms which is similar to BLD algs.

I've heard that ZZLL can be slow (but I might investigate that further), and PLL sounds ok but I want to 'spice up' my cubing (partly why I even use zz )

The best zblls tend to be when 2 corners are oriented. I know a small amount of zblls and almost all of them are zzll. I find recognition easier and the algs are not bad either. People normally go for t first, then l then u if they are learning. So I don’t think phasing is out of the question just learn full zzll or else it will waste time

If you force edges to be orientated you shouldn't use CLL and mess it up. Just use ZZ-Top if you want to do CFCE with ZZ F2L.

ZBLL is worth the effort.
CT is not worth the effort.
C++ is a bit like CT, but just slightly better. Definitely not worth the effort.
Phasing is pointless.
OCLL/PLL is pretty good already. If you don't wanna learn algs, don't learn CT, as it's about the same speed as OCLL/PLL (28 vs 72 TTLL plus TSLE "algs").

So do OCLL/PLL, but add in ZBLL over time.

You can't have both spice and speed in the world of ZZ, I'm afraid.
