Standard scramble?

Is there a standard way to scramble a cube? Everytime I get a fast time (for me), I always feel like the time was good because the scramble was easy(Like, my PB is by skipped a step).

Or download http://www.strangepuzzle.com/jnetcube.html JNetCube, which is a timer which provides scrambles.

if i time myself, and wont to make like an avg. i always use jnetcube and the scrambles. my fastes time i scrambeled myself. still had to do all the steps and if that is the case then i think its ok. there are alsow scrambles from the programm that are easy at least at the beginning with the cross. so i wouldnt worry about that. if you download a timer which are made for the cube, then you usely get a scramble, so it is not just jnetcube.
