Often times when I try to start the timer, it stops immediately, I’d imagine this is a known issue but I haven’t found anything from what I’ve found, anyone have a fix? I can provide a video if that may help.

Something I should've mentioned, the timer never stops early when the wire is in.
Edit: I want to know if there is a fix because I don't want to buy another wire then learn that there was a fix for it.

You mean:
1) Timer never stops early when the wire is in, or
2) Timer stops early when the wire is in?

If 1), I dont know, 2) are you coiling your cables or just let them dangle? Dangling is better than coiling them up.

Not really dangling, just resting on a table.

The issue is when I lift my hands to start the timer, more often than not, it will detonate the sensors before <.00, this issue does not occur while the wire that connects my timer to my pc, is not connected.

Stackmats are overall a wreck when it comes to quality control and issues like this, and G4 was also very bad with this. I’ve heard of issues where plugging the timers into displays or computers causes them to completely malfunction. It’s not consistent and I don’t know if a fix for them; there’s just something wrong with your timer that makes it defective and causes the cable signals to interfere with the timer functionality
