Stackmat not working

I have a stackmat pro timer and it turns on fine and says 0.000, but when I put my hands on it, it acts like nothing is happening. Like the lights don't turn on or anything. Is there a way I can fix this?

Try new Batteries, because the last time the happened to me it worked. If that doesnt work, I think if you put like some tissue or something between the battery and cap then it might work if the problem is it getting knocked out of socket, which has happened to me, but that's a short term solution and you will still need a new stackmat soon if that's the case .
