Speedsolving.com/forum ranking system?

[Louis McDonald]

Hey forum,

wouldnt that be cool because some people who use this site may not compete, and have an official ranking.

i just think it'd be cool

and have a number, that perhaps co-incided with a named ranking (e.g: Novice, speedcuber, advanced cuber, pro, ninja, mystical cube beast, messiah of the cube? )

LOL. :tu

lets see what the forum thinks

[Faz]

What would the ranking be based on?

[Louis McDonald]

it would be based on time, yet each event could be included. so under the username you could have: Join Date, Location, Wca Profile, Posts, SS ranking for *event*

idk just an idea haha.

Feliks = messiah of the cube

What would the ranking be based on?

Similar to C4U Forum? 2x2x2, 3x3x3, etc.

I don't support the idea.

or maybe as a user driven thing, but i suppose the "Race to ___" threads cover that

Doesn't seem like it would work that well...
Besides, who would decide what your rank was?

[shelley]

With no way to consistently verify people's times, the ranking is useless.

Tell you what, if you want "Messiah of the cube" under your username, donate to the forum and you can request a custom user title.

I'm in, as long as I am ranked atleast 12 places ahead of Louis
