Does anyone know of a site or somewhere on the internets that I can go to to read up on the latest and greatest in the Speedcubing World? Such as new hardware or new cubes coming out, release dates for cubes competition results, etc.?

Yeah, there's a great website for it, I highly recommend it. It's a sort of thing where people post topics, and you comment on them, I'm not sure what the word is. It's really popular with a lot of speedcubers, and most of the big names in speedcubing post there.

JRCuber's "Cubed" Series on Youtube. This is the best I got, but he posts a video of it every month of an average on 3x3, and then does a challenge, and finally talks about some cubing news.

This is something I've thought about a lot. If we could get enough volunteer writers, it would be easy for us to implement a "news" section here with articles contributed by the community. If this interests you (as a writer), please PM me. Thanks.

Assuming the SS Forums don't quench your thirst for speedcubing news, the group Cyoubx's Friends on Facebook often has news, although there are stupid posts sometimes. You could subscribe to a bunch of cubing YouTube channels, but that isn't really all in one place. SpeedSolving Forums really is one of the best you'll find though.
