I use beginners method (I’m new to the chat system so I might make mistakes I don’t know if this is attached to the poll or another thing)

For actual speedsolving I use CFOP, but lately i'm doing a lot of ZZ solves, also know Roux, but dont use it that often, as recognizing EO at the end is pretty slow for me

CFOP is by far and away the most popular speedsolving method. After that it's clearly Roux, then ZZ, then maybe Petrus? After the first 3/4 biggest methods it's all ~1% or less of all cubers using it. Objectively speaking, CFOP and Roux are the best methods of the big 4, but basically any modern method can be sub-10 and most can be pushed even further. As long as you're willing to dig a bit deeper for resources, or in some cases, be the one who has to create the resources, then really any method works. If you don't think you're ready to be a pioneer in the cubing community quite yet, I'd recommend using CFOP, Roux, or ZZ. If you're purely going for the best possible methods, I'd go for CFOP or Roux. And if you want to follow in the footsteps of cubers like Max Park, Feliks Zemdegs, Tyson Kolajfjkaehfjkhafkjf, etc., then I'd go for CFOP.

Roux EO is the second easiest EO after OLL in CFOP.
You have a top and Bottom colour. Just guessing those are yellow and white. At the 4 spots on the U face the ones that are yellow/white are oriented, the ones with any other colour are not. Then you look at the FD Spot. Now it's reversed. Yellow/white means unoriented(if you understand anything about EO you already know why) and any other colour means oriented.
Since 1/3/5 (un)oriented edges cannot exist, you already know what the 6th edge is gonna be.
Basically less to look at than with PLL recog.

I mean, i didnt say roux EO recog is bad, just that im bad at it myself, EO recog in general is bad for me, and the only reason i dont suffer in OLL in CFOP is that i recognize it by the shape that it makes

I am trying to get better though, ZZ solves definitely helped me in that aspect

also its been quite a while since i last did any serious solves with roux, so i could be saying outdated info

(also theres no need to sound so insulting, i just said im bad, not that roux is bad)
