I wasn't sure where to put this, nor what to title it. My sister has this little rubiks cube clone from a 50 cent toy machine with animal faces on it. I can solve a regular cube with no problems, but on this cube, the faces have to be turned the correct way as well as in the right spot. The first 2 layers are easy to get, but the last layer is giving me trouble. I can seem to come up with an algorithm to turn the "animal heads" to match the center. All the edges are oriented correctly, but they need to be turned to match the center. I've been using the R U R' U R U2 R' to try and fix it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Anybody have any idea how to go about it? If you think their is a better way for doing the last layer, feel free to share. Right now i'm doing the edges, corner permutation, then corner orientation. I tried using an OLL and a PLL to see what those do, but they will not ensure that the faces are turned the correct way.
Thanks
