Solving while looking through a small tube

Hey guys,

I was just thinking about what would happen if people would practice solving while looking through a small tube, so that you can only see a very small part of the cube at a time, so that you can see only 1 cubie at a time. In order to do this fast, you'll have to develop an efficient order of looking at things, and maybe this can improve your normal times as well. It could also be a funny mystery event.

Has anyone ever tried this?

I tried solving a cube with a wolverine mask on today, the eye holes were very small so it is kinda similar to this. My only thought about it, it was a pain in the ass...

Isn't it harder to look ahead when you can only see 1 cubie at a time?

Interesting idea though.
