I have a white diy and I was wondering if silicon leaves any black residue inside the cube. The silicon I would use is the heavy duty crc silicon. If it does leave black residue is it easily cleanable?

What would you use to clean off that black residue? I used a different type of silicon, but I just bought some crc heavy duty today so I want to clean my cube. Water doesnt work.

I use a toothbrush and warm water to clean my cubies.

I have used an all purpose cleaner, soap, etc... This was from the silicon I used before the crc heavy duty.... So that may be why it is not coming off? The inside of all my pieces look hideous. Black streaks everywhere

me neither, only residue on cubes with black plastic

I've been using silicone with my black cube for ages... but no residue on mine. :confused: I thought that only happened with Petroleum jelly.

its sotra hard to lubricate with computer chips........................lql.
Yeah. i didnt' get any residue with silicone, except on the pieces that i had previously used vasoline on.
