Should the WCA change megaminx scramble notation from Pochmann notation to Carrot notation?

if you lose your place mid-scramble, Pochmann notation lets you recover more easily.

I don't see how there would be any difference. Carrot notation goes in pairs so you can easily distinguish between R and D moves.
