Hey i want to get some feed back whether or not to start a cube club at my school. I live in Northwest pa and the closest known cubers near me are all down in pittsburgh. :( So i was thinking that maybe i should start a club up at our school for next year and try to either make some new cubers or to hopefully draw someout. I know it takes a lot of work to start a club but i just need some feed back and i already taught a mathteacher at my school and i think she might be the only person i know to help get it set up and supervize it. I want to do it but there is also another club i might like to do next year??? plz give me some feedback on this. thx

I run one at my school actually and to advertise it me and a mate went into an assembly and raced (me OH, her 2H) ... Everyone in school now calls me the Rubik's Cube kid haha...

Tbh, it's really nerdy but hey, I can't deny being a nerd ;)

Ontopic: Highly recommend it, great fun :D

ok i will look into it. Wat do you think i should do to start it up and what should i have in it ????

How did he do that ??? i am very interested if i started it, it would save a lot of people more money and might encourage more people to join. :)

Also how many people do you know who started one i really need some convincing before i decide if i am going to see about setting it up? :)

Sorry for the double post but i don't want this thread to die so fast can some other cubers tell me how i would go about setting up and tell wat i should have happening inside of the club?? such as teaching begginer method ,having small competitions??? ( not WCA official ones) or anything else you can think of???
