Shengshou 4x4 Konsta Florian Mod problems

Recently Konsta Florian modded my SS 4x4. The frst time, it was shxt, it corner cutted better, but the decrease in internal lock-ups was nowhere near enough to make it good enough to speedcube. I've sinced re-modded it-basically I further sanded every internal and external piece, and now the corner cutting is almost a whole cubie, but it still hasn't gotten rid of the internal lock ups. Is there a chance I have over modded it? It doesn't feel loose, and doesn't pop, so I don't know whether its a problem with tensioning, or the mod, or what. Any suggestions?

I'm probably going to get a Moyu Aosu before long, but because everyone raves about Konsta Florian 4x4's, I'd really like to get this right.

Break it in as if its a new cube. Modded cubes don't improve instantly after the mod.
