Shengshou 4x4 and Lanlan 2x2

Hey guys,I bought couple weeks ago a 4x4 shengshou and lanlan 2x2 but I'm having a big problem:everyone is saying that shengshou is one of the bests 4x4 on the market but when I do a u-perm on 3x3 It takes about 1.5-2 sec and on 4x4 about 4 sec.,If I adjust it more loose usually pops every solve -the same trouble with 2x2 so,what should I do?

Did you get the VIII 4x4? And it's only natural that doing PLLs on bigger cubes are going to take a little longer, it doesn't mean the cube itself is bad.

Yeah make sure you have V3. All you gotta do is break it in, then It'll be smoother than ever. As for the Lanlan, dont loosen it, it will pop more.

I had the same problem with my 4x4, it locks like a b****... Also the lanlan 2x2, it's just not the best 2x2 you have out there. It turns decent, nothing more. Consider buying a witwo 2x2.

How do you get rid of that annoying lock when the anti popping mech catches?

Get it from Lubix. It's the first and only 2x2, I have, and it will be my main for a long time. It turns great out of the box, and it cuts very well. I considered getting a Lanlan, but I glad I got the Lubix WitTwo. I learned Ortega in a little over 2 days (OK, I only learned 2 of the OLL's because I used my 3x3 ones), and I'm already sub-10 within 3 days of having it. Recommended cube

Sounds more like a recommended method than cube.
