I've noticed in other videos that you guys use goggles. I'm really quite disappointed in people who do. It takes the pain away from cubing. I did at least 20 solves, none with goggles. Of course I couldn't really see color at the end of the day because my vision was so cloudy. Plus the double vision...

well some people(like myself) can't open their eyes underwater. if i do, i flinch and close them immediately. its an uncontrollable reflex. also, try keeping your eyes open underwater for 3-4 minutes for underwater multi.
coincedentally, i need to try this, since i can do 3-4 while holding my breath right now, i can probably do at least 2-3 in one breath underwater.
