rubik's touch cube with adjustable speedcube core

it seems the new rubik's brand cube with plastic tiles instead of stickers may or may not have adjustable screws on the core depending on the date of manufacture. the speedcube version always has adjustable core. my question is if anyone knows anything about the new rubik's touch cube (for the blind). I could probably buy the speedcube and replace the tiles but I wanted to know if that is even necessary. they may be using the cheaper core for the touch cube until they make a new batch. if someone on this forum can confirm that the touch core is adjustable then I will only buy the touch cube.
