So I live in australia and there is something here called Maths Talent Quest ( or maybe its international idk) but our Enhancement maths teacher wants me and my partner to enter an assignment the topic we chose is rubiks cube maths ( though my partner is a non cuber ) what we've done so far is an introduction , some info about the cube , the number of possible permutations possible on a rubiks cube explaining why it seems impossible ( idea from Red KB's video) and a 'Dan Brown' ish way to solve the cube, some averages and some graphs of quality and stuff of different cubes, but now we're out of ideas we want to have a wider range of cubes but the only different cubes i have are a shengshou 3x3 ( not the wind) 3 zhanchis and a guhong and 2 rubiks brands so you can see these are not the best cubes and that we really need more information and we thought as this is a speedsolving forum we could ask for info here :D

So in your opinion what could we do and what do you reckon we should do? And if you guys can could you please give us information on what and your opinion is the best 3x3 cube and why you like and things you like to see in cubes e.g. clickiness, a fast crisp feel or to have it smooth? And also how could we incorporate more maths into this ( not so complicated that most adults cant understand it ) and just remember we're only 13 year olds

I really don't know how to help you, sorry. :( It sounds like a very complex topic to show non-cubers, but good luck anyway, even though this wasn't any help. May the force be with you. :D
