Now I know not many people solve pyraminx for speed, maybe they'll can solve it just not very fast. I was wondering if anyone had ever mentioned/thought about a pyraminx with ridges. I was watching the first episode of tehcubedudes better brand series which is, as you should have already guessed, on pyraminx. He was comparing the smoothness of the QJ and the SS pyraminx and said quote ' you always turn it with your hand, you don't really turn it with your fingers as it is hard to get a good grip' *cough* that's what she said *cough*. And then I remembered the Dayan Megaminx and remembered the ridges, and thought maybe the design could be applied to a pyraminx if Dayan ever decided to make one. I'm only 13 and computers commit suicide if I touch them, so maybe someone could make a Photoshop for me? If anyone in the cube making biz could read this it would be much appreciated.

dosent seem like it would be useful, since you don't really do U moves with 1 finger like you do on megaminx

also here you go

interesting idea, at the last comp the scrambles swapped 2 pyraminxes accidentally so i got the wrong pyraminx, but i had no time to ask for my one back, the pyraminx i got was horrible and now when i try to use it the layers need so much force it would benefit from grip because it dosent turn with no/little effort like my old pyraminx. i might get some milliput and make some, but i think dayan or mf8 or someone should make a pyraminx. also pyramixes hurt my hands for some reason so they should make a more user friendly one.
Edit: FSR it wont let me upload an image so i will put it on imgur. http://imgur.com/T40uTLO

lots of people solve pyraminx for speed
ridges wouldn't be that usefull since a triangle as 60 degree angles and a pentagon as 108 degree angle and people don't usually use a the normal u turn finger like the one you use for 3x3, megaminx ect.
