I have stated this before, but I never kept track of the thread and lost it. So i'll repost it.
I recently bought a New-Type A III cube. After assembling, lubing, and placing all the stickers on it, I saw that it popped a bit too much and I need to readjust the spring's tension. The center caps refuse to come off. Anyone have any ideas?

I've tried it. (yes the search too) but i can't seem to get the scapel under the center caps.
Edit: MmmK. sorry, thanks.

I sorta have an easy way.

1. Remove the large ring of a keyring
2. Stretch out the large ring so that you will sorta have a wide spring
3. Pop out an edge piece and remove the corners next to the edge piece
4. Push the end of the wide spring into one of the four holes of the centre piece
5. Twist the spring in order to push the end of the spring further into the centre piece, pushing out the centre cap.
6. Done :D

Any small and strong metal hook would work I think.

For my New A III, I use a small, flat head screw driver and stick it between the centre cap and the part the cap goes in and sort of rotate the screw driver left and right. Maybe I just have the right screw driver, but it works.

Thanks you all. It worked!
One more question, how do I know it's good? I can't seem to get the tiny spot where it pops minimally and is still very fast.

Monkeydude1313's tutorial,
Thrawst's tutorial that just came out on fac,
and Pestvic's sweet godly spot, what else is there so tell?
