Hey all, if this thread has been made before, or if there is a seperate thread where this has been answered, I apologise (even though I did try and search a bit).

I'm just wondering if any of you guys could possibly recommend a good camera/webcam that is of a high enough quality to pick up and record solves with a good picture/sound quality without a massive pricetag. What devices do you guys use?

Any recommendations are highly appreciated

Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, beware of the difference between webcams made for laptops, and ones made for desktops. Not only is the cord too short for most desktop setups but the "grip" as ^ called it isn't wide enough to fit a lot of regular LCD monitors. This applies to the one I linked. I use a USB extender but I just have this thing lying around. It'll only cost you more to have to get one so watch out for it.

That lifecam looks like a good buy! The video quality of your solve is perfect as far as I'm concerned PandaMan. Also nice solve :P I'm thinking I might invest in one of them bad boys :) Thanks for the advice guys.

Gonna take a look at that sony bloggie too maybe in the future, but for now my budget is shouting LIFECAM!
