Hi all!
Long time lurker/learner here. Just signed up, thought I would start interacting with folks.
I'm not a fast cuber by any means. Learned the basic solves, and then started doing F2L, I can get that down pretty good. At the moment I'm learning some of the easier algs for OLL and PLL. Even without knowing those, my solves are in around the minute range. Would love to get to 30s, but I think it will be a while.
I'm so interested in cubing that I made my own cube out of aluminum, brass, and steel, probably not legal in competition, but it looks neat, and moves pretty fast. It took me 18 months by hand (on a mill, non-CNC). I've patented it in the USA, and will file internationally in the next day or so! Currently talking to a manufacture here to see what it'll cost to mass produce them.
Anyway, cheers!
