Learning new PLLs has been going ok but I am so frustrated at my inability to visualize planning my cross. It's like there's a mental veil that prevents me from remembering something longer than a few seconds. Chess is like that too. I can't visualize to save my life. Some people have aphantasia, which is the complete inability to imagine something visually at all, and I don't have that, but sometimes it feels like I do. Maybe I need earplugs for all the stupid little sounds that I can't tune out from my surroundings. When I'm trying to concentrate on something, every single little sound is a huge distraction. I did my best math homework in complete silence at like 2 am after a few hours of silence. Sorry for the rant but it's my personal thread and this is why I don't practice cubing.
