quicktime being gay

i haven't been able to watch little videos like the ones on cubewhiz.com. the quicktime videos. i don't know why. before, my internet browser would freeze up and not respond. i just updated it, but it still doesn't work. the sound plays, but i can't see anything. i kept checking for updates, but found nothing. anyone know why this is happening?

try right-clicking the link and choosing "save target as" to save the video on your harddrive. then navigate to it and try to open it with something different program, other than QuickTime.

If it still doesn't work, and if you don't have MPC (Media Player Classic), download it... it will most certainly play it

yeah i can save it and then play it on windows media player, but i want to be able to play it from where it is. so there's nothing else i can do?!

I'm assuming you're using mac, and have flip4mac installed. If you want, you can disable the webplayer in your system prefs. Then when you click on the video link, it'll ask "Do you want to open this in Windows Media Player" this'll allow you not to have to download it.

no i don't have a mac. XP. i guess i'll just save the files from now on..
