I'm ordering a V-Cube 6 and 7 in a couple of days (just waiting for money to arrive on my Paypal account) and I was wondering; do the solving techniques for the 6 and 7 differ a lot from the 4 and 5?
Is it hard to solve them if you can solve a 4 and a 5? Are there any algorithms that I'll be able to use for the 6 and 7 that I already know from the 4 and 5? (I know the 4x4x4 OLL and PLL parity, the 4x4x4 dedge parity - if you have two broken dedges left and there ain't a third one to trade with -, a couple of 5x5x5 center algorithms, the 5x5x5 thredge parity algorithm)
Or are there completely other algorithms for both the 6 and 7 that you must know to solve it?
