Question about the 6x6x6 and larger cubes on the ryan hiese sim

How do you turn the inner slices in the 6x6x6 and higher? I see in the replays of other ppl's high scores' the inner slices being turned. There are controls for hand shifts but I'm not exactly sure what that means.

Did you TRY it? If you shift your right hand inwards the button for R will move two slices. Shift inwards again and the button will move three slices. That's how hand shifting works. If you want to shift sides other than R and L you should set it in the preferences. It also shifts the r button inwards, by the way, so you are always controlling two different slices.

Yeah, I probably should have tried it myself before immdiately asking for help...

Umm.. how do you solve the last two centers? I actually in the middle of a solve right now and I'm having trouble...

Doesn't it favor people who pair on M ring than E ring. I learned with E ring. For that reason, I don't use ryanheise for 4+ cubes.

I learned with the E ring as well. You learn to adapt. When i started, I initially using z and z' turns in order to move slices. You can also change the settings to have d and d' turns, if that's what you want. Not using a great tool because it's a little different than what you are used to is a stupid idea.
