Question about the 4x4 cube.

Hey guys,
I just got my 4x4 cube today.
I wanted to lubricate it, but.. when i tried to pry out the edge piece,
it was really, really hard to do so.

When i tried to take it out, it's like stuck to the center piece connected to it.
Please help!
Answers will be very, very, much appreciated.

What brand is your cube?

Its most likely not, it just feels that way. Lube it without taking it apart first and work it in. After breaking it in, it you should be able to pop an edge. This is the case with most Rubik's 4x4's. They're super stiff out of the box.

try to use a flathead screwdriver to pry it up
