Question about DIY original rubiks

1. Most people who have them say they are the best DIY ever, including me. If is has in insanely high turning speed capability, but there is one problem. The center caps don't stay on. You can fix this by putting some blu-tac on the bottom of the cap. Otherwise, they are IMO the fastest cube possible to buy.
2. Yes, they come with stickers, but get the cube that comes with PET labels, as the other kind is the crappy rubik's stickers. I like their stickers because they can be applied on side at a time, instead of one at a time.

If you want really good stickers, get some cubesmith stickers - they come in many different types so get a few and see what you like. I personally like the non-textured tiles.

So do you recommend buying a DIY from the official website as a 2nd cube?

I bought the original 3x3 and the cube moves okay, not really slow or really fast, I will try today to lubricate it with silicon grease and see what I can do

I just checked the website, and the shipping price is the price of the cube, so it turns out to be 20$,
is it still better by much than a lubricated original with the high cost?
