This is a thread to track my progress and PB's with different puzzles.

EDIT: THIS THREAD WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED, GO HERE FOR CURRENT RESULTS.

23/1: 7.23
26/1: 7.058 I still am not comfortable with some of my PBL algs. I use COLL if I happen to make a full layer.

9/2: 6.864 I make a layer and COLL every time there's a 2x1 solved in the scramble.
12/2: 7.375 I'm working on learning some cll cases for the more uncomfortable COLL ones.
20/2: 6.924
21/2: 7.025

10: 27.430
11: 28.583
12: 26.606
13: 26.955
14: 25.434
15: 25.242
16: 25.392
17: 24.391
18: 24.286
19: 24.705
20: 24.484
21: 23.892 (200)
22: 24.176 (200)
23: 23.095 very happy with today, multiple 16.xx and a 15.6
24: messed around on 4x4
25: 24.094 good avg
26: 23.249 first sub20 ao5, 15.8 single
27: 23.221
28: 23.262 my first 40 solves were a sub23 average. I need to stop trying to use so many pieces during inspection, because I always end up without a good plan and get like 28 seconds.
29: 23.294 (200) I'm feeling stuck-ish. I'm getting more sub20 solves, but still messing up and getting a few sup30's o_O I've decided that it's difficult for me to get a good time if I try to use two pairs during inspection. Straight-up crosses seen the easiest and fastest, which sucks since they're not as fun.
30: 22.287 FINALLY got a sub23 ao100. Also beat my PB single with a 14.919
31: 23.5x (50) I was tired and didn't feel like trying really hard or doing the full 100. I think I'm starting to figure out how to use multiple pairs in inspection.
1: 22.680 weird, I had a lot of awful, sup26 solves, so idk why the avg was so low.
2: 22.567 low standard deviation...
3: 22.613 so tired. I need to start my next ao100 before midnight... Last 50 solves sucked.
4: 21.905 nice.
6: 21.871
9: 22.011
10:22.345
12: 22.079 (200)
13: 21.401
25: 23.850 I guess that's what happens when you don't practice an event for two weeks...
26: 22.427
27: 21.241
28:21.873

14/1: 33.603
28/1: 30.882

9/2: 30.719
15/2: 29.499
16/2: 28.982

17/1: 1:37
24/1: 1:47 I have hit a serious wall. Maybe I need more slow solves?
26/1: 1:27 wow. never mind. slow solves are helpful.
28/1: 1:43 Yau sucks.

1/2: 1:38 (Yau) also 1:44 (Hoya) I think I like Hoya better.
2/2: 1:37 (24) Hoya is promising
4/2 1:33 (24) Hoya is very promising. Officially switching.
5/2: 1:28 (36) :)
7/2: 1:29
15/2: 1:30
18/2: 1:25
21/2: 1:28 (36)
26/2: 1:25 (24)

3/3: 1:32
4/3: 1:27

21/1: 2:38
25/1: 2:43 sometimes I spend like 6 seconds looking for one edge. Ugh.
31/1: 2:42 (24) meh

3/2: 2:49 (24) learned Hoya5.
5/2: 2:37
7/2 2:34
8/2: 2:34
17/2: 2:46 o_O yikes. I need to practice more...
18/2: 2:26
19/2: 2:31 (24)

21/1: 13.6 I still need to get comfortable with this puzzle. If I can't find a good start in inspection I get 30 second times, the same happens when, for example, I think I've solved a piece but later realize I haven't.
27/1: 12.5 I'm starting to track my third edge sometimes while I do the two I planned on inspection.
30/1: 11.9 I now feel comfortable with this puzzle. Now I just need to practice in order to reduce pauses.

6/2: 12.5 (300) learned oka and 1-flip. Still getting used to them.
16/2: 11.7
17/2: 12.0

24/2: 6:43 (5) spent all last night learning it, still can't do it without my cheat sheet.
25/2: 2:29 (5) I can now do almost all the cases from memory.
27/2: 2:00 (12) totally weaned off the cheat sheet.

1/3: 1:22 (12)

8/2: 33, 35
12/2: 41, 34, 27
13/2: 39, 39
14/2: 37, 38, 44, 40
19/2: 30, 35
20/2: 34
22/2: 30
23/2: 32
27/2: 33

PB single/ao5/ao12/ao100/global:

2x2 1.74/4.48/5.32/6.83/

3x3 13.5/18.1/19.1/21.2/

Roux 19.5/24.2/25.9/29.0/

4x4 1:08/1:13/1:23/1:29/

5x5 2:12/2:21/2:23/2:37/

▲ 3.72/6.65/8.80/11.4/

◾ Square-1 1:14/2:29/4:39/--

FMC 27/32.0/35.4/--

Puzzle/method (aoN): I did an average of N solves.
time (X): I did an average of X solves instead of N and took the best aoN.

Hmm...so you are improving, but slowly, I guess. I averaged about you a couple weeks ago, but since then I've become colour neutral, which has hurt my times, but soon I'll be back down to about your times. My goal is to be sub-15 one day, but I want to focus more on 4BLD. Anyway good luck.

I'm not upset with dropping 3 seconds in 2 weeks, I was frustrated with only getting sub25 after 6 months. Also, my last 5 times or so had been about the same, so I was frustrated with my plateau. However, as of last night I really felt like my cross solutions were starting to come more easily, and at some points my tps started really speeding up during the final stages of the solve without any subsequent pauses, so that was cool. I'm gonna keep at it at least until valentines day so I have a big set of data.
And I'm in community college right now which is super easy and it's the slow season for my other job so that's why I have free time.

I've updated the post so it now includes all the events I practice. I think this will be a good way to encourage myself later when I feel really slow I can come back and see how bad I used to be xD

The bump for me to become sub 20 was planning out the entire cross in inspection.

I had cross planned out during inspection before I was sub-40 or even knew F2L.
But I didn't look ahead until I was sub-25 :p that was my weakness

Yeah, my solves can be pretty variable. When I get an easy cross/first block/whatever I usually get sub 30 or at least sub 23. I've found that I only get above 23 seconds if I make a mistake or spend too much time looking for pieces. Sometimes though I try to look ahead and then I end up messing up the pieces I'm working on because apparently I didn't know the case well enough yet... A lot of times though that's not the case.
