You don't need to install a jar file. Usually you can just run it on Windows. If you can't then it's possible that the file association hasn't been established. Right click the jar file and see if Java Runtime appears in the Open With menu. If not, reinstalling the Java Runtime Environment often fixes this.Hello Walter,
