Should I get back into blindfolded solving?

I don't know if I posted this, or if any of you remember this, but I tried my 9.59 pb oh scramble, here it is below

single: 9.59

Time List:
454. 9.59 F2 L2 U2 F L2 F' U2 L2 F U2 B' U F2 L' U' B U' B' U2

I tried it with two hands and got 3.63

Recon:
y' F L U' R' // x-cross
D R U' R' D' // 2nd pair
U' L' U L // 3rd pair
U R' U' R // 4th pair
U2 r U R' U' r' F R F' // OLLCP
U M2 U M U2 M' U M2 U2 // PLL

SHOULD I COUNT THIS AS PB, I DID NOT FIND THIS SOLUTION WHEN I FIRST GOT THE SCRAMBLE FOR OH

I don't think I should count it because I find that oh scrambles are easier than normal scrambles, that might just be me tho
Also the fact that I got this scramble before makes it probably not count in the first place

It doesn't count since you already knew it was a good scramble. Still crazy impressive though. Actually the same thing happened to me, where I got an OH PB(24 lol, I don't do OH), tried it on 3x3 and got 7.95 sub PB at the time. I agree that OH scrambles often seem better, but that is probably mostly because of the slower turning and higher efficiency.

Ultimately it's up to you, but I personally wouldn't because you're already seen the scramble no matter the solution. But absolutely insane time--that's ridiculously good PB or not.

Now I know that I am indeed capable of sub 4... even in comp because I was a little nervous for this solve but didn't lock up at all, just perfect exec from start to finish

Also: New comps in nyack

Together they hold 3x3, 2x2, FMC, OH, Clock, Mega, Pyra, Skewb, Squan

Here's my goals for my globals by then

3x3: Currently 7.2, I want to make more x-crosses and get down to around 6.8
2x2: Currently 1.4, I plan on learning TCLL and getting down to either 1.2 or 1.3
FMC: Currently 35-36, I'm gonna learn DR/HTR and get down to sub 30
OH: Currently 15, same as 3x3 but probably to get down to 12 or 13
Clock: Currently 4.8, I want to learn 7-simul (@CAPTAINVALPO96 thanks for making the comp) and get down to sub 4
Mega: Currently 1:02, I just want to be more efficient and faster to get down to at most 50
Pyra: Currently 3.0, I feel like I can improve my Vs and get down to 2.5
Skewb: Currently 3.4, I was in the process of learning NS so I should finish that and get down to around 2.8
Squan: Currently 11, I plan on learning CSP to get more consistent times in the low-mid 9 range, probably even sub 9

Excited for these comps

Yeah no problem I think it’s a good way for people to learn other methods.

believe me when I can drive myself to comps I will. My dad be like: I’m not going to drive 2 hours for one day of speedcubing. Also him this summer: let’s go to Florida for a whole week to watch you play baseball. Like bruh you can drive over 30 hours for a baseball tournament and then won’t drive 2 hours for a speedcubing comp. He also doesn’t like me cubing as a personal thing. 👿

That's relatable, My dad is going to the Salton Sea in Cali 3.5 hours away, but he can't drive 45 min to a comp 💀

@CAPTAINVALPO96 umm what did I do?

U didn't do anything, people here just get mad at you whenever they feel like it even if they have no reason to. Join the club.

Annoy them to h*ll is where you went wrong. It comes with every speedcuber under driving age.
The upside for me is that I can drive in roughly 7-8 months.

WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME AT THE LAST SECOND I WAS JUST TOLD THAT I CAN'T GO TO THE COMP IT'S IN ****ING 2 HOURS

I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO LIKE 20 AND ONLY WENT TO 4
Same, I just found out that the f*ucking comp that I was registered for at the on 30 august-1 september, that I'm no longer going, I LITERALLY THE WHOLE SUMMER PRACTICE SKEWB SO THAT I GET NR, BUT I DIDN'T EVEN WENT TO A COMP, my mom told me that we can go at the next comp with skewb, but since my location IS SO TRUE, THEY DON'T HOLD SKEWB COMPS AT ALL, last year out of 22 comps, only 10 had skewb

Literally every parent decided to get together and say no this month

Recap since comp is over
Kymberlyn won 3x3 with 9.0 avg (you gotta be kidding me)
Evan won 3bld with 35 single in the first round
Parker won skewb with 2.58 (wait, whatt??)

I should be going to the nyack ones tho
I only go to comp like every 3-4 months lol

I only go to comp like every 3-4 months lol
Same, even though I should go more frequently, like last summer I went to 2 comps (almost 3), and this summer I went to 0, and the next POSSIBLE comps is at the end of October, If not, then I'm going to literally not go to a comp for a WHOLE YEAR, because I have 8th grade exams in june, and my mother is not going to let me go to a comp that is like in spring, so I'm f*ucked up
