Post competition rock climbing

After the Colorado Springs competition a few weeks back, Daniel Hayes, Pat Kelly and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and did some bouldering in Morrison. This particular sequence is called "Circus Trick". It's a little contrived but a lot of fun.

That's amazing! I'd just fall on my head if I tried. How much strength does it take?

The crevice where you jam your foot is actually really secure. As long as you have that, it's more about not getting sketched out by the fact that you're upside down.

That is an awesome video. Look at my left foot at 1:26, I need to tuck it, otherwise it is super awkward. Next time I'll get it.

Yeah, looks like your foot needs to come off the starting foothold for you to be able to come around. Next time! It's fun!

Looks like great fun. But is it "just" fun, or is that actually an advantageous way to get up there? (i.e. easier than "normal" ways?)
