I am sub 30 right now. I used to turn slow all these days so I thought I had damn smooth turning. So, today I wanted to spam TPS and in the course of doing so, I found out that I am indeed a rough turner. This has made my turning pretty inaccurate and sometimes I tend to miss AUFs. I want to eliminate rough turning and keep the TPS the same. All sugesstions are welcome.(as long as they're not like switch to Roux.(of course I average the same with Roux and ZZ as with CFOP but still..don't))

Learn a bunch of advanced fingertricks because most of those if you turn rough they won't work and you are forced to turn light.

Try to focus on one method now, and try and learn specific advanced algsets in it (for CFOP, ZBLL, 1LLL, EO influencing - For Roux: One look FB, one look LSE, CMLL prediction).

Once you are comfortable and can produce braindead solves with one method, you can try and explore other methods, or even the concept of method neutrality.

While everyone has made some good points, currently I would just focus on making sure you have good basic fingertricks, and know full OLL and PLL. I suggest loosening your cube so you can have a looser grip and still turn fast

Yeah I do have good basic fingertricks and also know full OLL and PLL. Maybe rough turning and some pretty inefficient F2L is hampering me on my road to sub 20
