We went off on a tangent in the Home schooled cubers group chat about if a 9 second solve is good for someone who got it when 16-17 seconds. I decided the only way to find out was to find the ratio of my single to average. I have 1.71 whereas greentgoatgal has 1.8. How many people have worse then me? Is their anyone who has over 2?

Currently 16.5/8.77 = 1.88. However when I got the 8.77 my global average at the time was 18.50 (18.5/8.77 = 2.10).

I have had several times ratios of more than 2. I got 19.11 when my average was 39, and back in the 80's I got 19.8 when my average was 47 (47/19.8 = 2.37).

A high ratio is indicative of inconsistent solving. Which is definitely me. It is not uncommon for me to get a 10.5 second solve followed by a 20.5 second solve followed by an 11 second solve.

Feliks has 3.01 PB single around and around (?) 6.30 global average? So that would be 6.30 / 3.01 = 2.09...?
