By no means are my methods perfect.

I am posting because I am thinking about making video's and I would like the Cubing community's input on my first attempt.

Also I wouldn't mind help on showing me my mistakes in the solve.

BTW So you have an idea of where I am at in cubing my average is about 30 seconds.

Thoughts? Ideas? Mistakes?

your last piece of the cross could've just been a 2 move insert and a one move correction
instead of doing L' U L B2 just do D L D'
i don't know if that will help but that's what i would've done

I find using the d/d' moves helps allot but maybe I'm wrong? I haven't seen anybody else use them. But I would rather do them than rotating the cube sometimes.

Yeah the cross sucked lol. I was having trouble picking out music though because I didn't want music that distracted you from paying attention to what was actually going on. idk

I'm making some better video's any suggestions on Music?

I liked the music, but it doesn't help in terms of trying to actually teach something. It's pleasant though. :)

Who's your target audience for your videos? I ask because, without narration, your pointing and execution are going to be rather hard to follow for someone not very skilled at Fridrich. I understood what you were doing, but I'm a cuber.

Some of your moves are slow and easy to follow. Others are very fast (by comparison) and hard to see. Your cross was very difficult to follow, simply because of the camera angle. Zooming in on the cube a little bit more might be a good idea. Or moving the camera so it's even closer to your actual eye's point of view.

Just some thoughts.

Brian.
