One corner on 5x5 really gritty and rough

Yesterday, I magnetized my stickerless WuShuang. When I put it back together and lubed it, it turned very nice and buttery smooth. However, whenever I turned a face that had the White/Orange/Green corner on it, the turning was very rough and gritty. This happens when you turn only the very outer layer. It is very odd, and I'm not sure what's going on. I took out the corner and it appears to have no issues with the stock or anything. What's going on here?

Yeah. I'll definitely do that if there's no way to fix it. Good thing I bought extra magnets.

You've probably gotten glue on it somewhere. It will likely wear off in time, but I would recommend looking to see if you can see any rough glue spots, and carefully scrape any visible glue off with a sharp knife or very fine sandpaper.
