hi everyone,

I think this might have been discussed to death, but I recently found the olympicube.com site. and I simply cant wait for those large numer cubes to come out! expecially the cussion shape ones.

how long time have these been on their way? and do anyone know when they are gonna come out?

They have got to know that we are starving for them!

and what about price range?

I have writtem them an email, but I thought I would bring it up here as well!

I know I know.. I was just joking. I know its a huge deal to get something produced. its hard just even to get the patent.

but as soon as they are gonna be out, people are gonna be all over them!

and another problem is the patenting process.

If it has already been patented in several European Countries, nothing is already done in North America.

Personally I think none of us will have the chance to buy one of them until the Olympicube system has been patented there.

what size cubes are there? i think i once saw something about a 20x20x20 one, but i think that might not be true. seems awfully big.

Yeah, it will be neat when they come out, who knows when though. Frank Morris (Kal El on here) is testing some of them out, up to a 7x7 I believe. He has some videos posted on idahocubers.com I believe.

At this point the subject matter of Olympic Cubes and their >5 edge cubes is kinda like Blizzard and how they won't make a Starcraft II, <_<

the only difference is that they've already made the Cubes, but we're waiting for them to be released for th public.

hopefully blizzard is doing the same thing

I got that info from this page
Question: Are all puzzle brands allowed?
Answer: The World Rubik's Cube Championship 2007 is supported by Rubik licensees. Therefore for all Rubik's label cube events (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5) only the official Rubik's brands are allowed.
Note by Ron: for 2x2 you can use the bigger Japanese version or a restickered Harry Potter's 2x2 cube.
