I am averaging around 24ish on a good day, and I'm not sure If i'm making improvements..
So now is the time, should I finish the OLL?
Or should I wait till sub 20?

(OMG LOOK AT THIS SCRAMBLE: Blue on F Yellow on U: U B2 L' D' L2 U L2 F2 B' R2 F L D F' U' B F D' L' R' U2 L2 R' F2 L'......Awesome for petrus or a nice extended cross)

I recommend doing the ones that you recognise getting all the time. Firstly: this probably means that you're getting them a lot and so it will be of great use. Secondly: you will no longer have that case ubgging you every time you see it :) . Overall, I don't think order matters, just make sure first that you don't have to worry about 3 look OLL.

There are about 10 OLL's I don't know, I know all PLL's, so normally 2 look, occasionally 3. The only problem cases are those where you have no edges already oriented. I learnt those ones early in my OLL learning. The rest are just whatever takes your fancy.

Learning OLL Algorithms

I average 26ish on a good day, and I know less than half of the OLL algorithms. I memorized 4 today during history class. 10 isn't that bad. Go for it. Do 2 a day and you'll be done on Friday.

Lol, so it's a challenge you want now? If that's the case, it's on, but I warn you, I'm on the verge of a massive break through. I go through these very short phases (2-5 solves) where I have impecable lookahead, and average sub 20 :p . It's only a matter of time until I can hold it up for a full average of 12^^

So it is on?
But I'm telling you Dene, your gonna have to work harder than that!
Its not long till I average sub 20!
I seem to be getting 1 second shorter with my solves each week!
Today, I got a 22.75 with an average of 12, NO Sub 20's!(Thats what you call consistency!)

PLUS! I just learned(mastered) 3 OLLs today!
I'm gonna go at a rate of 3 a day.

Well, you can learn them as quick as you like, but it is not much use until you can execute them faster than 2 look :) . I have been having the same success as of late. Unfortunately, today I had a tinge of pain in my left hand, I fear RSI, although it may just be lack of sleep.

I'm a sub-14 cuber on a good day, and I don't know any of the OLLs were all four edges are unoriented.

Partial edge control, please.

I use intuitive VHF2L/sometimes some intuitive ZBF2L.
That really helps sometimes.
But most of the time I get the no edges flipped correctly, thats why I am learning all of those.

My F2l/OLL =
Either all edges flipped correctly(using VHF2L or ZBF2L) then a simple corner OLL algorithm
OR
Deliberately get a no edges flipped correctly, because I am not learning all the algorithms(just learned the 8th and final one :] )
