To be fair, attracting a crowd or distracting someone so your accomplice can replace a potato with a cube usually involve cubing. Unless your target is sufficiently distracted by "ooh, pretty colors!"

I use mine as a camera stand sometimes when I can't find my desktop tripod. You can make mosaic art with massive amounts of cubes. And according to the Western Spaghetti stop motion movie, cubes are a key ingredient in spaghetti sauce.

I use my cubes are paperweights quite frequently. Well, I did over the summer when my fan would blow the paper on my desk around.

That's a splendid idea! It's good for tripods and music stands. It's helpful for my music stand because at it's maximum height it's like 4 feet. The problems is that I'm almost 5 foot 7. Not until I watched the video at my recital did I realize how much of a dork I look like. So embarrassed. Well, that doesn't happen now, because the cubes can raise it up!
