For now I can't do full memo during inspection since it uses so much brain power to reverse my edge memo, but maybe with enough practice...

That's what I do, but I use audio for edges, so I'm used to holding my edge-memo for an extremely short amount of time. My normal memo for BLD is extremely tenuous, and the extra effort it would take to reverse the edge memo would also make me forget my corner memo.
