I tried the scrambles and got
11.24 (only parity)
9.50
11.39
8.78
9.04

I got a diansheng fto and learned how to solve it. It was more difficult than I thought. I had about as much trouble on it as I had on square-1. I will update my fto progression when I get a sub-1.
Also I got squan pb ao5 again lowering it to 12.30 and got a sub16 squan ao100

2x2 R1: Everything went smoothly with PR avg and the first solve was a couple moves into LL skip with a hesitation at the end.
R2: I used my friend's lucky rubber chicken that he had left at his solving station. BAD IDEA. I +2ed the 1st solve and the 2nd solve was a +2 so I fixed it, AFTER I stopped the timer smh.

3x3 R1: Nice double PR
R2: A little locky and nervous
R3: Nice double PR again, first time making 3x3 finals, although over 50% of people made finals lol.

Clock R1: Double PR, everything was average. DNF was top edge and top corners were one tick off.
R2: Great single, DNF was a 32 because I solved it then resolved it because it wasn't solved. Then I flipped it over and it still wasn't solved, so I solved it and it was still a dnf somehow.

Square-1 R1: The event I prepared the most for (which still isn't a lot), amazing luck with 0/5 parities. Double PR with my avg somehow being better than my previous single and it's also better than my SS comp PR. Got 9th which I'm super happy with and the avg puts me 12th in the state.

Overall great comp, double pr'ed in everything except 2x2 single, which I wasn't expecting to anyway. Got to see @Kami-Kun for the 2nd time at a comp, and got to witness some very fast clock solves.

clock solves.
bro my mom keeps fangirling over the first 2x2 solve in first round and keeps telling everyone at her work about it

So last week for the weekly comp, there was an insane scramble in FMC. I brought my pb of 39 down to 23 (I avg low 40s btw) with only CFOP!!!

Here's the scramble:
R' U' F D' R B' U2 F2 L2 U2 F' L2 B' D2 U L R' D B' D2 L' D B R' U' F

I found a 39 move solution (which would have tied my current pb) by the half hour mark, so I decided to check the inverse scramble.
F' U R B' D' L D2 B D' R L' U' D2 B L2 F U2 L2 F2 U2 B R' D F' U R
I decided to try to get an xx-cross on yellow by D2 R' D2 F' D2 L2 F' L' F and accidentally set up a psuedoslot for the last 2 pairs through D2 U' B U B'. Then the OLL lead to a PLL skip through D B L2 F' L' F L' B' U'.
I submitted the inverse of that for my final solution of 23 moves. But playing with the scramble later that night I found I missed a cancelation that would have made it 21 moves. I didn't realize I could cancel directly into OLL without the extra moves that I bolded above and instead do the D move at the end. But I'm still so happy to get this and now I can retire from FMC ;)
